#250504 Birch Path in Spring | |
Mucking around between showers this week.... I love these few spring weeks, when the new leaves are such a bright green. Funny thing with this spot, my cousin and her husband were avid snowmobilers, and probably 30 years ago, they told me about this birch path, that I should come with them to photograph it. Well, time passed and I never had the chance.
But I knew apx where it was, and one hot summer day about 10 years ago, I found myself in the area, and decided to seek them out. How hard could it be?
Little did I know, there is a spiderweb of paths, and it's very easy to get confused and struggle with finding it. So silly me, I chose a 94 degree day, with nearly 100% humidity, to try to locate them, ugh:(. After more than an hour searching and becoming dehydrated, I disappointedIy gave up, and walked back to my car.
This week, with stunning spring greens and good flat lighting, I sought them out once more, and was finally successful:)!
