Damn it gets light awfully early right now.....following a light snowstorm, I made another attempt at a winter image from this scene. It required getting up at 3:30am to be out the door on time, for the hour hike in the dark by headlamp again. I am pleased to say, this time it was a balmy 16 degrees with very little wind. But mother nature had blown most of the snow off the trees overnight:(, and the sunrise while beautiful, was still not up to par with the scene. Not bad, but I will likely make one more attempt before the seasons over.
