FINE ART PRINTS

All images featured in our web site galley can be ordered as custom-made professional photographic prints. If you would like to place an order, click on the order button on the bottom of the print page, and then select the size and options you want. We will contact you promptly to confirm your order. These high quality prints are custom made with state-of-the-art techniques, using quality pigment based inks and semi-gloss papers, significantly increasing the life expectation of standard R type prints.

The sizes available vary due to the film ratio used. Presently the majority of the prints available were taken with 120/220 transparency film, but some of them are taken with 35mm format film. These two size films provide distinctly different format ratios. For example a 35mm 8x12 print, would be 8x10 inches 120/220 format. You will also find the occasional print with an odd size, due to cropping or panoramic format. The sizes shown below are for the actual image size. The matted border surrounding the print is typically 2.5 to 4 inches wide on all sides, depending on the size of the print ordered, making the final height and width dimensions 5-8 inches larger, or 6-10 inches larger when framed. LIMITED EDITIONS

We are now offering some of our new images in a "Limited Edition"series. These images will be Open editioned at smaller sizes, up to a miximim of 8x12 standard or 7x18 panorama. Larger sizes will be offered with a maximum of 250 print editions available for sale in each size offered. Each image will be clearly marked as a "Limited Edition" print on the full size view of the image on the web site and have an "LE" denotation attatched to the image I.D. number. Each LE print will be signed and numbered with the series number. These prints will be individually priced and based on the successive number of the print. Please Call for an individual quote.

The measurement is based on the actual print size. When ordering the print only, the image will have an additional border around it (1/2 to 1 inch depending on the print size) and will be signed by hand in the border. When the image is matted or matted and framed, the outer mat will be signed in the bottom corner unless otherwise specified. Larger sizes are available by custom order and require a longer time-frame to deliver due to the need for drum scanning.

We guarantee your satisfaction! Due to computer system and screen differences, the image you are viewing on the web may have slight color or lightness variations from the finished print. However, we are so sure you will be completely happy with your print that we offer a complete refund for any print returned in new condition within 30 days.

MATTING

When ordering the print matted or framed, we will select the mat and frame color to correspond with the specific print ordered. Outer mats have a border that is approximately 2.5 to 3.5 inches wide, depending on the print and frame size. For single mats, we most often use a granite pebbled mat. For double mats, we use an ivory colored outer mat, and a colored inner mat that compliments the art print. Prints are drymounted using pH neutral, acid free mounting tissue and foam board, unless otherwise requested. Hinge mounting is also available on small to medium size prints upon request.

Overmatting: To ensure that the mat window does not reveal any of the white border around the print, the windows are cut very slightly smaller than the image area, obscuring a minimal area of the image along its edges.

FRAMING

We use standard wood frames that compliment the art print. We most often choose a standard black or cherry colored wood frame. Framed price is the complete price for the fine art print matted and framed. We use premium UV glass to protect the print from fading, unless we are shipping out of the country, in which case we will offer plexi-glass to prevent any further risk of breakage in shipping.

SHIPPING

Shipping cost for prints only are $25. We ship using UPS ground. For matted and framed prints, please contact us for a quote.

We can insure your package at your request Our default policy is to ship your package without any special insurance. If you would like us to insure your package for a certain amount (such as the amount of your invoice), please let us know when you place your order.

PAYMENT

Acceptable forms of payment are: Visa, Mastercard, money order and personal check. Please add appropriate shipping and handling charges to all orders. When ordering, please provide us with your name, complete billing address, shipping address, and phone number and, if paying by credit card, the complete account number and expiration date.
